Clusteranalyse
Clusteranalyse is een familie van onbewaakte multivariate technieken die een verzameling objecten of observaties partitioneren in intern homogene, wederzijds onderscheiden groepen — clusters — op basis van gemeten kenmerken, zonder enige voorkennis van groepslidmaatschap. Het wordt veel gebruikt in marktsegmentatie, bioinformatica, psychologie en sociale wetenschappen om natuurlijke groeperingen in gegevens te onthullen.
