Co-kriging: Multivariaat Geostatistische Interpolatie
Co-kriging is een geostatistische interpolatietechniek die de ruimtelijke distributie van een primaire variabele voorspelt door gebruik te maken van de ruimtelijke kruiscorrelatie met één of meer secundaire (co-)variabelen. Het breidt ordinary kriging uit naar multivariate settings, wat resulteert in nauwkeurigere voorspellingen wanneer de secundaire variabele dichter is bemonsterd of ruimtelijk gecorreleerd is met de primaire variabele van interesse.
