Netwerkgebaseerd variant-oproepen — Genotypering met een graaf-genoom
Netwerkgebaseerd (graaf-genoom) variant-oproepen vervangt het conventionele lineaire referentiegenoom door een variatiegraaf — een netwerk waarin knooppunten sequentiedelen voorstellen en randen bekende alternatieve paden door het genoom voorstellen. Reads worden op deze graaf gemapt, wat de detectie van SNPs, indels en structurele varianten mogelijk maakt met een aanzienlijk lagere referentiebias dan pijplijnen met een lineaire referentie. Belangrijke tools zijn de Variation Graph Toolkit (vg) en Graphtyper.
