동시 다수준 혼합 방법 설계는 중첩된 사회 시스템의 두 개 이상의 수준 — 예를 들어, 학교 내 학급 내 학생 — 에서 양적 및 질적 데이터를 동시에 수집한 다음, 해당 수준 전반의 결과를 통합하여 현상에 대한 계층적이고 포괄적인 이해를 생성합니다. 동시 시점은 두 데이터 계열이 순차적으로 서로에게 정보를 제공하는 것이 아니라 동일한 단계에서 수집됨을 의미합니다.
