Reflexive Thematic Analysis — Braun & Clarke
Reflexive Thematic Analysis(RTA)는 데이터셋 전반에 걸쳐 공유된 의미의 패턴, 즉 테마(theme)를 식별, 분석 및 해석하는 데 널리 사용되는 질적 방법론입니다. Virginia Braun과 Victoria Clarke가 개발한 이 방법론은 이론적으로 유연하며 인식론적 입장을 넘나들어 적용될 수 있고, 테마가 단순히 데이터에서 저절로 나타나는 특징으로 취급하기보다는 연구자의 능동적이고 해석적인 역할을 전면에 내세웁니다. 이는 억압해야 할 편견의 원천이 아닌 분석가의 주관성을 자원으로 취급한다는 점에서 기존의 '코드북(codebook)' 접근법과 차별화됩니다.
