짝짓기 선별 검사 평가는 질병 양성 사례를 연령, 성별 또는 임상 환경과 같은 주요 특성을 공유하도록 선택된 하나 이상의 질병 없는 대조군과 짝지어 사용하는 짝짓기 설계를 통해 선별 또는 진단 검사의 민감도, 특이도 및 예측 값을 평가합니다. 검사 성능을 측정하기 전에 교란 변수에 대해 대조군을 짝짓기하면 진단 정확도에 대한 더 정확하고 편향이 적은 추정치를 얻을 수 있으며, 동일한 피험자 내에서 경쟁하는 검사들을 직접 짝지어 비교할 수 있습니다.
