뉴욕심장협회(NYHA) 기능 분류는 호흡곤란 또는 기타 심부전(HF) 증상을 유발하는 신체 활동 수준에 따라 심부전 중증도를 4단계로 나누는 서열형 시스템입니다. 1928년 NYHA에 의해 제정되고 1994년에 개정된 NYHA 분류는 심장학에서 가장 오래되고 널리 사용되는 기능 상태 측정 지표로, 심부전 증상 부담을 설명하고, 치료 강도를 안내하며, 예후를 예측하는 간단하고 임상적으로 직관적인 틀을 제공합니다.
