Deterministički genetski algoritam — evolucijska optimizacija bez slučajnosti

Deterministički genetski algoritam (DGA) primjenjuje strukturni okvir evolucijskog računarstva — populaciju, selekciju, križanje i zamjenu — koristeći isključivo determinističke operatore i fiksna pravila odlučivanja umjesto stohastičkog uzorkovanja. Eliminacijom slučajnosti, algoritam postaje u potpunosti reproducibilan: dvostruko pokretanje na istom problemu daje identična rješenja, što ga čini pogodnim za rigorozno uspoređivanje, studije reproducibilnosti i sustave gdje je stohastičnost nepoželjna.
