Variational Quantum Eigensolver

Variational Quantum Eigensolver (VQE) je hibridni kvantno-klasični algoritam osmišljen za pronalaženje najmanje vlastite vrijednosti (energije osnovnog stanja) kvantnog Hamiltonijana. Predstavljen od strane Peruzza et al. 2014. godine, iskorištava varijacijski princip za kombiniranje snage kvantnih krugova s klasičnom optimizacijom radi rješavanja problema u kemiji i znanosti o materijalima na kvantnim uređajima bliske budućnosti.
