Hartree-Fockova metoda

Hartree-Fockova (HF) metoda je temeljni pristup samodosljednog polja za rješavanje problema mnogih elektrona u Schrödingerovoj jednadžbi. Neovisno razvijena od strane Douglasa Hartreea i Vladimira Foka krajem 1920-ih, aproksimira osnovno stanje pretpostavljajući da se elektroni kreću u prosječnom polju koje generiraju svi ostali elektroni, omogućujući izvodljive kvantnokemijske izračune.
