Seulontatestien arviointi – seulontatestien ja -ohjelmien arviointi
Seulontatestien arviointi on systemaattinen epidemiologinen lähestymistapa, jolla arvioidaan, pystyykö testi tai ohjelma tunnistamaan tarkasti ja kustannustehokkaasti henkilöt, joilla on sairaus ennen oireiden ilmenemistä. Se kvantifioi diagnostisen suorituskyvyn mittareita – herkkyys, spesifisyys, ennustearvot ja ROC-käyrä – ja arvioi, täyttääkö seulontaohjelma hyväksytyt kansanterveyden kriteerit käyttöönotolle ja haitta-hyötytasapainolle.
