Bayesian Copy Number Variation Analysis

Bayesian copy number variation (CNV) analysis on probabilistlik raamistik genoomsete segmentide tuvastamiseks, kus üksikisiku DNA koopiate arv erineb diploidsest normist. Asetades eelnevad jaotused koopiate arvu olekute üle ja uuendades neid array CGH, SNP array või sekveneerimisandmete lugemissügavuse tõenditega, annab meetod iga koopiate arvu oleku tagajärjetõenäosused kogu genoomi ulatuses, pakkudes statistiliselt põhjendatud ebakindluse kvantifitseerimist, mida sagedusmeetoditel puudub.
