Inerti

Inerti, også kaldet Within-Cluster Sum of Squares (WCSS), er et mål for klyngesammenhæng, der kvantificerer, hvor tæt punkter er grupperet omkring deres klyngesentroid. Lavere værdier indikerer mere kompakte, sammenhængende klynger. Inerti er den primære objektive funktion for k-means-klyngedannelse og har været en fundamental metrik siden metodens introduktion.
