Bayesiansk eQTL-analyse — Bayesiansk Expression Quantitative Trait Loci Analysis

Bayesiansk eQTL-analyse identificerer genetiske varianter (eQTL'er), der regulerer genekspression ved at kombinere genotype- og RNA-seq-data inden for et probabilistisk rammeværk. I modsætning til frekventistiske tilgange, der er afhængige af p-værdi-tærskler, producerer den Bayesianske formulering posterior-sandsynligheder for association, hvilket muliggør principiel fin-mapping af kausale varianter og kohærent usikkerhedskvantificering på tværs af tusindvis af gen-SNP-par samtidigt.
