Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS)

Et Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) er en komplet inertiel navigationsundersystem, der estimerer og udgiver den tredimensionelle orientering (attitude) og kursen for et køretøj eller en platform. AHRS kombinerer målinger fra accelerometre, gyroskoper og ofte magnetometre gennem sensorfusionsalgoritmer (typisk Kalmanfiltre eller komplementære filtre) for at give et driftfrit, hurtigt attitudeforudsigelse. AHRS er standard inden for luftfart, maritim navigation og moderne autonome systemer.
