Distance Sampling

Distance sampling 是一种用于从观察者与被探测个体之间的距离数据估计种群丰度的统计方法。该方法由 Buckland 及其同事 (1993) 开发,并通过 Distance 软件进行了形式化,它考虑了不完美的探测率:距离观察者较远的动物被探测到的可能性较低。通过对探测函数(在不同距离探测到动物的概率)进行建模,即使探测不完整,Distance sampling 也能产生无偏的丰度和密度估计值。
