Panel Geographically Weighted Regression (Panel GWR) เป็นการขยายกรอบการทำงานของ GWR แบบมาตรฐานไปยังข้อมูลแบบพาเนล ทำให้สัมประสิทธิ์การถดถอยสามารถแปรผันได้ทั้งตามตำแหน่งทางภูมิศาสตร์และตามเวลา สามารถจับความสัมพันธ์ที่ไม่คงที่เชิงพื้นที่ (spatially non-stationary) ในชุดข้อมูลเชิงพื้นที่แบบระยะยาว (longitudinal) หรือแบบวัดซ้ำ (repeated-measures) โดยการรวมการประมาณค่าเชิงพื้นที่แบบท้องถิ่น (local spatial estimation) เข้ากับการควบคุมความแตกต่างเฉพาะหน่วย (unit-specific heterogeneity) ของข้อมูลแบบพาเนล
