Comparative Classic Grounded Theory
Comparative classic grounded theory เป็นการออกแบบการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพที่ประยุกต์ใช้กระบวนการของ Glaserian grounded theory ดั้งเดิมของ Glaser และ Strauss กับกลุ่มเปรียบเทียบ สถานที่ หรือช่วงเวลาที่เลือกไว้อย่างจงใจตั้งแต่สองกลุ่มขึ้นไป วิธีการเปรียบเทียบอย่างต่อเนื่อง (constant comparative method) ซึ่งเป็นกลไกการวิเคราะห์ของ classic GT ได้รับการขยายอย่างเป็นระบบทั่วทั้งสถานที่ต่างๆ เพื่อให้ทฤษฎีที่เกิดขึ้นใหม่สามารถอธิบายความแปรปรวนของปรากฏการณ์ในบริบท กลุ่มประชากร หรือเงื่อนไขที่แตกต่างกันได้
