การศึกษาความแม่นยำในการวินิจฉัยแบบเบย์ (Bayesian diagnostic accuracy study) เป็นการประเมินว่าชุดตรวจทางการแพทย์สามารถจำแนกผู้ที่มีภาวะโรคออกจากผู้ที่ไม่มีภาวะโรคได้ดีเพียงใด โดยใช้วิธีการทางสถิติแบบเบย์ (Bayesian statistical methods) ซึ่งผนวกความรู้เดิม (prior knowledge) เข้าไปในการประมาณค่าความไว (sensitivity) ความจำเพาะ (specificity) และมาตรวัดที่เกี่ยวข้องอย่างเป็นระบบ แตกต่างจากแนวทางแบบดั้งเดิม (classical approaches) ที่อาศัยเพียงข้อมูลตัวอย่างที่สังเกตได้ การอนุมานแบบเบย์ (Bayesian inference) จะรวมแบบจำลองความควรจะเป็น (likelihood model) ของข้อมูลเข้ากับการแจกแจงความน่าจะเป็นก่อน (prior probability distributions) เพื่อให้ได้ค่าประมาณภายหลัง (posterior estimates) พร้อมช่วงความเชื่อมั่น (credible intervals) ที่ตีความได้ง่าย
