Mtawanyiko wa Nuru Kinabadilika
Mtawanyiko wa Nuru wa Nguvu (DLS), unaojulikana pia kama Spektroskopia ya Uunganishaji wa Fotoni (PCS), ni mbinu ya uchambuzi inayotumika kubainisha ukubwa na usambazaji wa ukubwa wa chembechembe zilizosimamishwa kwenye vimiminika kwa kuchambua mabadiliko ya nguvu ya mwanga uliotawanyika kulingana na muda. Iliyobuniwa na Robert Pecora mnamo 1964, DLS hutumia mwendo wa Brownian wa chembechembe: chembechembe ndogo huenda haraka, na kusababisha mabadiliko ya haraka ya nguvu; chembechembe kubwa huenda polepole, na kusababisha mabadiliko ya polepole. Kwa kuunganisha nguvu kwa muda, ukubwa wa chembechembe hubainishwa. DLS ni ya haraka, haiharibu sampuli, na inahitaji kiasi kidogo cha sampuli, na kuifanya kuwa mbinu sanifu ya kutathmini nanochembechembe, protini, koloidi, na emulshani.
