TERCOM

Terrain Contour Matching (TERCOM) ni mbinu ya kusogeza inayosaidiwa na ardhi ambayo hurekebisha makadirio ya nafasi kwa kulinganisha vipimo vya altimeter dhidi ya ramani iliyohifadhiwa ya mwinuko wa dijiti (DEM). Iliyoundwa na Boeing katika miaka ya 1980 kwa ajili ya kuongoza makombora ya kusafiri kwa kasi, TERCOM huwezesha usogezaji sahihi katika mazingira ambayo GPS haipatikani kwa kutumia saini ya kipekee ya ardhi katika kila eneo. TERCOM inasalia kuwa muhimu kwa kuongoza makombora, vyombo vya chini ya maji vinavyojiendesha vyenyewe, na mifumo inayofanya kazi katika hali za kusumbua.
