Kuhesabu kwa Kujitegemea ni njia msingi ya urambazaji inayokadiria nafasi na mwelekeo kwa kuunganisha vipimo vya kasi na kiwango cha pembe kutoka kwa vitambuzi vya ndani kwa muda, bila marejeleo ya nje kama vile GPS. Neno hili linatokana na mila ya baharini ('kuhesabu kwa kutoa') na bado ni msingi wa urambazaji wa anga na magari yanayojiendesha. Kuhesabu kwa Kujitegemea hufanya kazi kwa uaminifu katika mazingira ambayo GPS haipatikani na ni njia msingi ya urambazaji wakati msaada wa nje wa urambazaji haupatikani.
