Interval poverenja

Interval poverenja (CI) je opseg vrednosti, izračunat na osnovu uzoračkih podataka, koji verovatno sadrži pravi parametar populacije. Uveden od strane Jerzyja Neymana 1937. godine, on pruža intervalnu procenu umesto jedne tačkaste procene, uključujući kako posmatranu vrednost tako i neizvesnost oko nje. Standardni interval poverenja od 95% je robustna, intuitivna alternativa p-vrednostima za saopštavanje rezultata istraživanja.
