Bajezijanska eQTL analiza — Bajezijanska analiza kvantitativnih lokusa ekspresije

Bajezijanska eQTL analiza identifikuje genetičke varijante (eQTL) koje regulišu ekspresiju gena kombinovanjem podataka o genotipu i RNK-sekvenciranju unutar probabilističkog okvira. Za razliku od frekventističkih pristupa koji se oslanjaju na pragove p-vrednosti, bajezijanska formulacija proizvodi posteriorne verovatnoće asocijacije, omogućavajući principijelno fino mapiranje kauzalnih varijanti i koherentno kvantifikovanje nesigurnosti istovremeno za hiljade parova gen-SNP.
