Analiza e diskursit është një metodologji kërkimore kualitative që shqyrton se si gjuha, komunikimi dhe pushteti formësojnë kuptimin, identitetin dhe realitetin social. E zhvilluar në gjuhësi, sociologji dhe psikologji (veçanërisht nga Norman Fairclough dhe Jonathan Potter), analiza e diskursit shkon përtej përmbajtjes për të analizuar përdorimin e gjuhës si një praktikë sociale që përbën dhe pasqyron marrëdhëniet e pushtetit, ideologjitë dhe strukturat sociale.
