Approximate Bayesian Computation med målefeil (ABC-ME) utvider det standard ABC-rammeverket uten likelihood til innstillinger der observerte data i seg selv er støyende eller unøyaktig registrert. Ved eksplisitt å inkludere en målefeilskjerne i aksepttrinnet, retter ABC-ME seg mot den korrekte posteriorfordelingen over modellparametere selv når den sanne datagenererende prosessen ikke kan observeres direkte.
