Kwantitatief-prioritair Mixed Methods Design
Een kwantitatief-prioritair mixed methods design is een onderzoeksbenadering waarin kwantitatieve data en analyse het primaire verklarende gewicht dragen, terwijl kwalitatieve data een aanvullende of bevestigende rol spelen. De onderzoeker verzamelt en analyseert eerst kwantitatieve data (of gelijktijdig met grotere nadruk), en gebruikt vervolgens kwalitatieve bevindingen om de statistische resultaten te elaboreren, verklaren of contextualiseren. Prioriteit en sequentie bepalen samen waar integratie plaatsvindt en hoe elke component de andere informeert.
