Longitudinal Content Analysis — Betekenis Volgen Over Tijd
Longitudinal Content Analysis (LCA) past systematische inhoudsanalyse toe op documenten, media of teksten die op twee of meer tijdstippen zijn bemonsterd om te detecteren hoe thema's, kaders, taal of discoursenpatronen veranderen of blijven bestaan over tijd. Voortbouwend op de gevestigde logica van inhoudsanalyse, voegt het een temporele dimensie toe die onderzoekers in staat stelt trends in kaart te brengen, de evolutie van representaties te traceren en hypothesen over historische of sociale verandering te toetsen. Het wordt veelvuldig gebruikt in communicatieonderzoek, politicologie, mediastudies en de gezondheidswetenschappen.
