Discriminante validiteit in Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT)
Discriminante validiteit in computerized adaptive testing (CAT) is het evaluatieproces dat bevestigt dat een schaal die via CAT wordt afgenomen, het beoogde construct onderscheidt van gerelateerde maar conceptueel verschillende constructen. Ondanks dat het adaptieve itemselectiemechanisme voor elke respondent een andere set items genereert, moet bewijs worden geleverd dat de via CAT verkregen scores niet excessief overlappen met scores van theoretisch onderscheiden schalen.
