Bayesiaanse constructvaliditeitsbeoordeling maakt gebruik van Bayesiaanse confirmationele factoranalyse en gerelateerde Bayesiaanse structurele-vergelijkingsmodellen om te evalueren of een schaal of test het beoogde latente construct meet. Het levert volledige posteriorverdelingen op voor factorladingen, structurele coëfficiënten en model-fitindices in plaats van enkele puntschattingen, wat leidt tot meer genuanceerde en onzekerheidsbewuste validiteitsconclusies.
