Analisis RNA-seq sel tunggal berasaskan rangkaian meluaskan aliran kerja scRNA-seq standard dengan membina dan menyoal rangkaian interaksi molekul — rangkaian peraturan gen, rangkaian kodisiaran, atau graf komunikasi sel-sel — daripada data transkriptomik sel tunggal. Berbanding dengan merawat setiap gen secara bebas, pendekatan ini menangkap aktiviti terkoordinasi litar gen dan laluan isyarat antara sel di dalam dan di antara populasi sel, membolehkan pandangan peringkat sistem terhadap peraturan transkripsional pada resolusi sel tunggal.
