강건 스피어만 상관계수는 두 변수 간의 단조적 연관성을 측정하는 이상치에 강한 지표입니다. 이는 스피어만 로(rho)를 이상치나 두꺼운 꼬리 분포로 인한 왜곡으로부터 보호하기 위해 극단 순위를 윈저화(Winsorizing)하거나 퍼센트-벤드(percentage-bend) 접근법을 사용하는 등의 강건화(robustification) 전략을 적용하면서, 비모수적 순위 기반 특성을 유지합니다.
