프로토콜 기반 메타분석은 데이터 수집이 시작되기 전에 연구 질문, 적격성 기준, 검색 전략, 결과 측정치, 통계적 방법 등 모든 주요 방법론적 결정을 명시하는 상세하고 사전 등록된 프로토콜에 따라 수행되는 메타분석입니다. 일반적으로 PROSPERO 또는 이에 상응하는 등록소를 통한 사전 등록은 이 접근법을 사후 또는 탐색적 메타분석과 구별하며 선택적 보고 및 결과 전환의 위험을 상당히 줄입니다.
