가치 흐름 맵핑(VSM)은 제품이나 서비스를 원자재 투입부터 고객 인도까지 가져오는 데 필요한 자재와 정보의 흐름을 시각화, 분석 및 개선하는 데 사용되는 린(lean) 관리 기법입니다. Mike Rother와 John Shook가 1999년 워크북 'Learning to See'에서 소개한 VSM은 도요타 생산 시스템의 전통을 바탕으로 전체 생산 가치 흐름에 걸쳐 낭비, 지연 및 비부가가치 활동을 드러냅니다.
