시각적 유발 준언어 분석
시각적 유발 준언어 분석(Visual elicitation semiotic analysis)은 사진, 이미지, 영화 스틸컷, 또는 인공물과 같은 시각 자료를 자극물로 사용하여 참여자의 설명을 유도한 뒤, 이미지와 참여자가 생성한 반응 모두를 준언어 분석(semiotic analysis)에 subjecting하여 명시적 의미(denotative meaning)와 함축적 의미(connotative meaning)의 층위를 풀어내는 질적 접근법이다. 이 방법론은 사진 유발(photo-elicitation)의 참여적 강점과 준언어 체계의 엄밀성을 결합하여 문화, 미디어, 사회 정체성 연구에서 특히 생산적이다.
