비판적 은유 분석 — 은유를 통한 이데올로기 탐구
비판적 은유 분석(Critical Metaphor Analysis, CMA)은 은유적 언어가 텍스트 내에서 권력 관계와 이데올로기적 입장을 어떻게 구성하고, 정당화하며, 혹은 반박하는지를 밝히는 질적 방법론이다. Jonathan Charteris-Black(2004)이 개발한 이 방법은 개념 은유 이론(Conceptual Metaphor Theory)과 비판적 담론 분석(Critical Discourse Analysis)의 평가적 관점을 통합하여 정치, 제도 및 미디어 담론에서 은유가 수행하는 설득적이고 이데올로기적인 역할을 드러낸다.
