대화 분석 — 상호작용 속의 말하기 연구
대화 분석(Conversation Analysis, CA)은 자연 발생적인 대화와 사회적 상호작용의 미세한 순차적 구조를 검토하는 질적 연구 방법론이다. 1960년대와 1970년대 사회학자 Harvey Sacks, Emanuel Schegloff, Gail Jefferson에 의해 개발된 CA는 대화 참여자들이 말하기의 순간적인 조직화, 즉 발언 교대, 순서 구조, 수정, 청자 설계 등을 통해 초대, 거절, 진단과 같은 사회적 행위를 어떻게 수행하는지를 조사한다.
