서열 척도 개발은 응답 옵션이 순서가 있지만 반드시 등간격은 아닌 일련의 순서를 형성하는 다항목 측정 도구의 체계적인 구축 및 검증입니다. 가장 흔하게는 리커트형 형식(예: 1 = 매우 동의하지 않음 ~ 5 = 매우 동의함)이 사용됩니다. 이는 항목의 서열적 특성을 연속형으로 취급하지 않고 존중하는 심리측정 기법을 적용합니다.
