차별 문항 기능(Differential Item Functioning, DIF) 분석
차별 문항 기능 분석은 동일한 잠재 능력치를 가진 서로 다른 집단(예: 성별, 민족, 언어 배경)의 응시자들이 특정 문항에 다르게 반응하는지를 검토하는 방법이다. 1988년 Holland와 Thayer가 Mantel-Haenszel 절차를 통해 최초로 형식화한 이 분석은 현대 문항 개발에서 문항 편향을 탐지하고 제거하는 주요 도구이다.
