고래 최적화 알고리즘 (Whale Optimization Algorithm, WOA)
고래 최적화 알고리즘(WOA)은 2016년 Mirjalili와 Lewis가 소개한 군집 기반 메타휴리스틱 알고리즘입니다. 이 알고리즘은 혹등고래의 거품그물 사냥 전략을 모델링하는데, 이는 여러 마리의 고래가 먹이를 중심으로 점차 좁혀오는 나선형 궤적을 그리며 사냥하는 방식입니다. 이 알고리즘은 적은 수의 매개변수를 통해 전역 탐색과 지역 탐색의 균형을 맞추며, 연속적인 공학 최적화 문제에 널리 사용되고 있습니다.
