地震反射探査解釈
地震反射探査解釈とは、地表下の岩盤層から反射された弾性波を記録することによって収集される地震探査データから、意味のある地質情報を抽出するプロセスである。20世紀半ばに開発・体系化されたこの手法は、石油探査および土木地質学の基礎となっている。これにより、地質学者は掘削なしに地表下の構造を画像化し、炭化水素の有望地点を特定し、ハザードを評価することができる。
