盆地沈降解析
盆地沈降解析は、テクトニクス、アイソスタシー、および荷重によって駆動される堆積盆地の地質学的時間経過に伴う深化の定量的研究である。McKenzie (1978) および Sclater and Christie (1980) によって形式化されたこの手法は、盆地発達の力学的原因を明らかにし、地下の温度および圧力履歴を予測し、石油生成を制約する。解析は、盆地進化を再構築するために、層序、地震構造、重力データ、および熱モデルを統合する。
