Digital Twin Simulation — Hibridna virtualna replika

Digital Twin Simulation, prvi put konceptualiziran od strane Michaela Grievesa na Sveučilištu Michigan oko 2002. godine i formalno opisan u njegovom bijelom papiru iz 2014., stvara kontinuirano ažuriranu virtualnu kopiju fizičkog sustava spajanjem podataka senzora u stvarnom vremenu s mehanističkim (fizikalno utemeljenim) modelom i komponentama strojnog učenja. Blizanac odražava trenutno stanje fizičke imovine i projicira njezino buduće ponašanje, omogućujući otkrivanje kvarova, prediktivno održavanje i operativnu optimizaciju bez ometanja stvarnog sustava.
