Deterministički stanični automati — diskretna dinamička simulacija temeljena na pravilima na mreži

Deterministički stanični automati (DCA) simulacijska je metoda koja modelira evoluciju složenih sustava putem pravilne mreže stanica, od kojih svaka ima diskretno stanje, ažurirano sinkrono u svakom vremenskom koraku prema fiksnom, determinističkom pravilu primijenjenom na stanicu i njezine susjede. Ishod je u potpunosti reproducibilan s obzirom na iste početne uvjete i skup pravila.
