Simetrične komponente

Simetrične komponente matematička su tehnika za analizu neuravnoteženih trofaznih električnih krugova razlaganjem na uravnotežene skupove komponenti. Metoda, koju je 1918. uveo Charles Fortescue, transformira složenu analizu neuravnoteženih sustava u jednostavnije uravnotežene ekvivalentne krugove. Simetrične komponente temelj su razumijevanja kvarova, koordinacije zaštite i stabilnosti u elektroenergetskim sustavima, te ostaju ključne u modernom pogonu mreže.
