Optimalni tok snage

Optimalni tok snage (OPF) temeljni je optimizacijski okvir za izračun najekonomičnije i najsigurnije radne točke elektroenergetskog sustava. Uveden od strane Jeana Carpentiera 1962. godine, OPF minimizira operativne troškove (gorivo, gubitci ili drugi izdaci) uz poštivanje fizičkih i operativnih ograničenja. Moderni elektroenergetski mrežni sustavi ovise o OPF-u za ekonomsku raspodjelu u stvarnom vremenu, analizu sigurnosti i planiranje, čineći ga jednim od najvažnijih problema u inženjerstvu elektroenergetskih sustava.
