| Sažetak≠ | MAIHDA — Multilevel Analysis of Individual Heterogeneity and Discriminatory Accuracy — is a quantitative method for studying intersectional inequalities. Introduced for intersectionality by Clare Evans and S. V. Subramanian in 2018, building on Juan Merlo's discriminatory-accuracy framework, it treats the many strata formed by crossing social categories (for example gender × race/ethnicity × education) as level-2 units in a multilevel model, then partitions outcome variation between and within those strata to assess how much intersectional position predicts the outcome. | Logistic regression is a statistical method for modeling the probability of a binary outcome (disease present/absent, success/failure) as a function of continuous and categorical predictors. Developed by David Roxbee Cox (1958), it solves the problem of predicting categorical outcomes by applying a logistic transformation to constrain predictions to the [0,1] probability interval, enabling accurate risk stratification, diagnostic prediction, and causal inference in epidemiology, medicine, and social science. |
