Prostorna varijacijska inferencija

Prostorna varijacijska inferencija je skalabilna aproksimativna Bayesovska metoda koja prilagođava latentne Gaussove modele ili modele Gaussovskog procesa georeferenciranim podacima optimiziranjem donje granice na marginalnu vjerodostojnost. Ona zamjenjuje skupe MCMC uzorkovanja determinističkim korakom optimizacije, čineći potpunu kvantifikaciju nesigurnosti posteriora izvedivom za velike prostorne skupove podataka.
