Différence Minimale Importantielle Basée sur un Ancrage
La méthode basée sur un ancrage pour établir la Différence Minimale Cliniquement Importante (DMCI) est une technique permettant de déterminer le plus petit changement dans un résultat rapporté par le patient (PRO) que les patients ou les cliniciens perçoivent comme significatif ou important. Pionnière de Guyatt, Jaeschke et Singer en 1989, cette approche ancre les changements dans les scores de résultats à des événements ou jugements cliniquement significatifs externes, permettant aux chercheurs et aux cliniciens d'interpréter si les effets du traitement représentent des améliorations réelles et pertinentes pour le patient.
