Molekyylidokitus
Molekyylidokitus ennustaa ligandin (pieni molekyyli) ensisijaisen sitoutumisorientaation ja affiniteetin proteiinin sitoutumistaskuun. Kuntzin ja kollegoiden vuonna 1982 kehittämä laskennallinen menetelmä etsii konformationaalista tilaa löytääkseen energeettisesti suotuisia ligandi-proteiinikomplekseja, mahdollistaen kemiallisten kirjastojen nopean seulonnan lääkekehityksessä.
